Anyone work a part time job outside of their full time employment?

I am dying with the inflation levels what they are. I need more income than my full time 8-5 job will provide. I am thinking of getting a second job for evenings and weekends. But I do not want to get a second job that pays minimum wage and work with teenagers and immigrants doing menial work.

Anyone work a second job and are paid anything at all? Advice?

What is a good job for someone over forty years old?|||I%26#039;m not sure what your interests are, but I really enjoy being outside and doing yard work, light landscaping, general fixing (doors, windows, fences etc.) so I decided to do this on the side. I live in a neighborhood with quite a few older retired people... it%26#039;s AMAZING what they pay for me to come over and cut down some old shrubs, fix a garage window, clean up the yard or even shovel their sidewalks while they are off on vacation down south for the winter.

I do it a few hours a week, make a few bucks on the side and best of all NO BOSS OR OTHER EMPLOYEES TO WORK WITH. It%26#039;s just me outside on a nice day raking a tiny yard of leaves for $30. Word spreads FAST, soon their friends are calling asking you to come over and do odd jobs for them and I keep very busy.

Find a hobby and make it part time work.. you%26#039;ll enjoy what you do and it ends up not even feeling like work.|||I have 2 teens and am in the same boat as you. I just got a job at home depot for weekends and 1 night a week. They pay better than minimum wage.|||Sounds like you think you%26#039;re too good. Like your crap don%26#039;t stink. You need money and yet you can%26#039;t work with immigrants. Who%26#039;d want to hire you?

What job can I get that includes animals except without having to do surgery plus i want to get good money?

I want a job with animals but not a vet because i cant do surgery or tell an owner their pet died. Plus i wanna get good money for the job i do I need help to think of this job!!|||Oh yeah, slaughterhouse, taht works...Gross...So, what about a dog walker, 10 bucks an hour isn%26#039;t that bad, at least that%26#039;s what my friends makes, you can also work at a shelter or kennel(for pets who%26#039;s owners are on vacation)|||Its for u and free to join..

|||Get you a couple of dogs or cats or both and start breeding animals. If you live in the country start thinking about breeding horses.. Very good money in that. Or if you live in the city become a dog walker or someone who checks on animals while people are away or at work... Really good money in that too. If you love animals there are alot of things you can do.|||work in a pet store|||Sea World!|||pet psychic... all you have to do is bullshit about how the pet feels....|||you can be a dog groomer.|||Dog walking in an upscale neighborhood. or like a doggie daycare|||first u can be a dog walker or even take care of peoples animals|||working in a slaughterhouse . . .|||Maybe a Zoo would be the place to look; if not try the New York Stoch Exchange- they sure sound like animals at times; but the Money is good. Seriously now, sometimes one needs to work for less pay if the Love for the job is there.

How important is job history when buying a house?

I have been in my job for almost 8 years and I want to start the process to buy a house in January. Problem is I hate my job and want to look for a new job. Will starting a new job now impact my ability to purchase a house?|||Starting a new job does not matter at all as long as your employer can confirm you work there. There are exceptions, for example if you are on a probabtion period or if the job is casual employment. To can get around this you could apply for a low doc home loan which is basically a statment saying how much money you earn and that you can pay the loan back. The interest rate is very slightly higher for these. This is what we went for as my partner works contract.|||Changing jobs is usually not a problem as long as your new job is in the same field. They do not like to see you go from being lets say a nurse for 8yrs, to a new realtor. Nurse to nurse is fine.|||Never change jobs right as you are starting the house hunt.

Who knows what will impact tomorrows markets but I have a feeling one better have high scores and immaculate credit/job histories.|||I think that as long as you can prove your income and have a good credit history then it should be fine!

Good luck house hunting!|||putting the application credibility aside, i am more concern for you if you will be happy with the new job. taking up a house loan is a long term commitment and it%26#039;s going to weigh on your shoulder heavily. this is esp. so as it came with few assumptions : that is you are able to finance the long loan with a stable income and of all, good health. you have to think carefully along all these before getting a house. take care.|||If your new job is salaried, it shouldn%26#039;t be a problem. Talk with a trusted Loan officer for some sound advice and to see your whole financial picture: your credit scores, down payment, etc... http://www.choicerealestate.net/montgome...|||If you have been at a job 8 years, loan company%26#039;s will have no issue. If you go to apply for a loan and have been on the job for two weeks, you may have a hard time getting a loan. Would you make a loan to someone for many years without some kind of job history?

Put yourself in the shoes of the loan officer...|||Your credit will be more of an issue than how long you have been on the job, but I would suggest waiting until after you get into the new house to start the process of a new job. You might want to consider the upcoming holiday season, what your commute might look like and what would happen if you got in with a firm where you didn%26#039;t like the people you are working for. A new job and a move are not a good combination. Ponder it some more before you take that leap.

How can we collect data from different job search engines and display them in a single site?

How does some sites list the jobs offered by various job search engines. How do they collect data? For example, rediff job search allows the user to search for jobs across a number of job search engines / job portals. How does rediff collect the data?

What is the minimum job experience for foreigners appying for a job in singapore?

I am an engineer searching for a job in singapore. But i have no idea if i can get a job there based on my experience. I had a 5-month apprenticeship in my first job and 1yr and 9 months in my second job. Will there be opportunities for me in singapore. Please help me!|||I think you need to work on getting a work permit first. There%26#039;s actually no minimum, it%26#039;s more a matter of what you can provide a company. If you had your work permit handled, it would be easier for you.
