What are some good tips for excelling in a job interview?

I have a job interview soon, been out of workforce for awhile, yet I really need this job. How do express interest with out seeming desperate. What was your trick to landing your perfect job?|||No matter what the field/industry, I have found these tips to be helpful.

Exude confindence

Know company history, background, products, ect.

Look around the office of the person who is interviewing you and look for something you may have in common and mention it.

Practice standard interview Q %26amp; A

Answer their questions, don%26#039;t go around it.

Never bad mouth a former employer (show loyalty)

The biggest thing is to ask for the job. tell them that you are very interested in this position and state the reason why you are the best candidate and say %26quot;I would be honored to work for....%26quot;

Send a written thank you letter

Best of luck in your job search. Now is the best time for jobseekers. oh, speaking of thank, if they ask you what salary you want, ask them, what has been budgeted for this position.|||the main idea is to show what you can do for the company not what the company can do for you.know what the job duties are(research) and what your duties are.show up on time and dress appropriately.|||well i usually am the person doing the interview so i can tell you what i look for in a candidate.... First, introduce yourself and shake everyones hand in the room no matter how uncomfortable you think this will make you feel. second... how much do you know about the job? make sure you research the company first so you dont look dumb when they ask you questions. Third.. think of some of your best accomplishments so far,, they will expect you to sell yourself to their company, but stick to the facts dont brag like you are a one man show. Fourth .... a little humour goes along way.... we have always hired the ones who were honest and a little witty at the same time. A little humour shows you can handle pressure. Be yourself, try not to be nervous... the nervous ones rarely get hired as it shows a a lack of confisence.

Good Luck!|||Speak calmly and professionally.|||just answer all the questions right don%26#039;t lie on any of the question and good luck!!!!
