What are some tips to make your job suck less?

Tryin%26#039; to get real tips from real people.

Don%26#039;t ask %26quot;what job!%26quot; I%26#039;m looking for general suggestions:

But if you%26#039;re interested--think general office/desk job, big building, not too many people to %26#039;hang out%26#039; with, and a lot of time must basically be %26#039;accounted for%26#039;. :P

Thanks! :D I%26#039;m interested in hearing what YOU do.|||photocopy your butt! or watch the movie Office Space...you may get some ideas from there.|||well i only do one thing!

- look for some hot men around:D and if ur a guy then find some chic to stare at! in between breaks

p.s;: make sure this doesnt affect ur job!:)|||You will never be great doing something you hate. My advice is find something you love going to do everyday. I have heard good things about this site and book..........|||porn is your one an only option my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|||find another job. something you%26#039;re passionate about, and love doing.|||Well try to look on the brighter side of the picture. U know like why would you even consider taking up the job in the first place. Just focus on what you want and you target on life. If you can%26#039;t really coup up with it, then just leave the damn place and get another job.|||find something about the job or those you work with that entertains you. laughing (even in your head) makes the time go faster. that and colored pens|||I have the kind of job that allows for some variety and movement within the organization. Some of the jobs are not all that great. I might even describe them with the words you use. My philosophy has always been that it doesn%26#039;t make as much difference what the job is, as who I%26#039;m working with. I can have a good time at almost anything if I%26#039;m working with the right people. But it%26#039;s also my nature to try to find %26#039;something%26#039; that I like about the job and then try to do it as best I can. Maybe better than anyone else. Putting out quality gives me a personal reward. I have also learned through they years to not rely on upper level commendations or compliments for your job happiness, but rely on yourself - knowing that you%26#039;re doing a good job, providing a good service to others, and going home at night knowing that you accomplished something good.|||Quit or look for another job.|||try to focus on a career, something you can do for the rest of your life and enjoy it - a job is for money, a career is for life|||Quit!|||Concentrate on the PAYCHECK! LOL... Really look at the good points. Do you get a degree of flexibility? How are the benefits? Are there any perks, like parties or FREE FOOD? :-) Are you learning things that you can apply in your future?|||Work towards something else. If you have long term goals you can focus on that to get through the days. For me the thing that keeps me going is the prospect of getting a window office overlooking Lake Michigan. Oh, and the $275K that goes with it.|||Do better. Care about your result.|||I spend my time plotting ways to kill my boss or get back at her %26amp; surf for other jobs when i need to take a break from my evil plans. (seriously)|||FRAME OF MIND. TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE BENIFICIAL ASPECTS OF YOUR JOB FIRST. FOR SOME IT HELPS TO HAVE A PLAN. FOR ME, ON MY BORING OFFICE/DESK JOB, I HAD A PLAN TO MOVE UP, AND ALSO SAVE MONEY FOR A DIRT BIKE. ONCE I HAD THAT IN MY HEAD, IT MADE THE TIME GO BY EASIER. I DIDN%26#039;T THINK ABOUT IT AS MUCH, I JUST DID IT, AND GOT THROUGH IT, UNTIL I REACHED MY GOAL. . I DID%26#039;N%26#039;T MOVE UP, BUT I GOT A SWEET BIKE THAT MADE THE HARD WORK WORTH IT.|||jus work nd dont think about it nd keep ure mind off it
