What is the job called of someone who does the layouts of magazines?

I%26#039;m interested in doing this job and was wondering what it is called. Also what training and skills do you need for it?|||Production Artist or Graphic Designer. Art Directors oversee and manage the overall process of the magazine%26#039;s production but do not always work with the actual files. Some do, however.|||Art Director or Layout Editor.|||Graphic designer, sometimes. Go to a technical school to learn how to do it, like ITT or something.
