I am going to be moving to Florida from NJ in August. I would like to have a job lined up before I get there. I know that as a last resort I could get a random job as a waitress somewhere, but would like a career position. What we ended up doing was he looked for jobs over the internet, and applied to them letting the people know when he%26#039;d be available. Then we set up interviews for a bunch of different jobs over a couple days when I had to come down and do some stuff for my school. That way he could apply easily online, and then he got all of the interviews taken care of at the same time. We did all this about 1-2 months before we actually moved.
Alternatively, some places will allow you to do over the phone interviews, so you just have to mention when you apply that you%26#039;re going to be moving and see how they prefer to do it.

Also you can always include a cover letter that explains you will be available in Aug|||Definately take advantage of the internet to find a job. I move and travel across the country all the time. I almost always have a job lined up ahead of time. Try the monster.com, craigslist.org and other things like that.
