What job should i expect to get if i quick ship in the usaf?

Ok, so i have already sworn in and recieved my date to leave. It wayyy in december, and thats to far away for my situation. I really want to quick ship, but i dont want to end up with a crappy job. What should i expect to be getting if i go this route?|||There is quick-ship available but that%26#039;s open to an applicant who already has booked a job. Being placed on the quick-ship list is just letting the %26quot;Ops%26quot; section know that you are willing to leave tomorrow if a slot for the job you booked opens up...very rare

If you really wanted to ship out sooner than December, you should have processed sooner or gone in as open General.

Most people who have processed since late June have been getting jobs leaving no earlier than October this year.

Your best bet now is to let your Recruiter know that you are willing to quick-ship and to place you on the list.

At least once a month a slot opens up because someone failed to ship. An email is sent out to Recruiters asking for any takers. If your Recruiter knows that you are interested in leaving ASAP and if you are qualified, he/she will call u up and see if you are interested in it, if you are you%26#039;ll get it....it is a first come first serve basis so make sure your Recruiter knows how bad you want to leave and what you are interested in.

GOOD LUCK!!!|||You have to decide what is most important, and to be honest, if you take the quick date, then they look at what they need the most, what is in the most demand, then that is your job. That is how that works, if they are low in ADMIN then there you go, if they are low in BOMB LOADERS then that%26#039;s your job.. you have no choice, it is the luck of the draw.

GOOD LUCK
