I am looking to get a top job at one of these types of companies. What majors should I consider? What schools should I look at?
Also: What about the above questions for a job in the aerospace industry?
Thanks, your input is greatly appreciated.|||1. Join the company at the bottom of the employment ladder and excell at your job and climb the ladder to the position you want.
2. Go to university, study hard, then join the ladder at a higher position.
3. Get offered the position by someone who likes you that is already high up in the company .
4. Start at the bottom and offer sexual favours to all your managers then blackmail them for a promotion ;-)|||MIT, then you can make your own company for that list.|||it%26#039;s all about who ya know my friend....|||First of all, none of the companies you have named are %26quot;top engineering companies%26quot;. They may be top from a business standpoint, but from an engineering standpoint, you%26#039;d learn more at a startup. I have friends who have worked at Ebay and Cisco (as engineers) and they left because they were miserable.
Anyway, just keep applying.. one will take you... eventually.
Warning: by the time a company becomes a high-flyer, it is already too late to get in on the ground floor.|||You go to their website and look for a job description. Then you apply for that job. They will ask you to come in for an interview, if they are interested. You go there and try to look good. Then HR will call you... or not.
By the way, among your list only one company is any good. You don%26#039;t want to work for Yahoo, Ebay, Cisco, Adobe. For different reasons... but I have heard stories about any one of these which do not make me want to recommend them as workplaces.
Google will most likely not take you, they only take the best and the brightest.
Good Luck! And don%26#039;t say you have not been warned if you happen to end up in a slaughterhouse for engineers...|||You have to find a company that does
computers work, none of those companies do.
They%26#039;re networking companies,
non engineering companies.|||First of all, they look into our career record, like percentages must be above 75%,having good attitude and communication skills.if u have all the above u put ur resume in job web sites, then immediateli they willhire u or find where they are conducting interviews and go there and apply there,if ur profile matches to their requirement, they will hire u
